SRINAGAR: NC president Farooq Abdullah on Sunday met fasting climate activist Sonam Wangchuk’s wife Gitanjali J. Angmo, pledging support for her husband and the people of Ladakh.“May your husband get better. May he remain healthy and may his struggle be successful,” Farooq told Angmo at Delhi’s Safdarjung Hospital where he and other NC functionaries had gone to enquire about Wangchuk’s health. Angmo thanked Farooq.Farooq said he was not allowed to meet the activist who has been on hunger strike in support of Cockroach Janata Party’s demands for education minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation over NEET paper leaks.
