Lucknow: Police have lodged an FIR against Ansal Group and four other people for allegedly cheating two buyers of Rs 43 lakh on the pretext of selling residential plots in Lucknow.The case was registered at Sushant Golf City police station on the complaint of Bhupendra Veer Singh, a resident of Sidhari in Azamgarh district.Singh alleged that he and his relative, Nitin Narasaria, a resident of West Bengal, were duped after purchasing two plots through Ansal.According to the complaint, Bhupendra purchased a plot for Rs 25 lakh from Dr Narayan Prasad and his wife Renu, while his relative bought another plot for Rs 18 lakh.The complainant alleged that they later discovered they could not sell the plots without obtaining a no objection certificate from Ansal. He accused the owners of Ansal of conspiring with Krishna Azad, Adesh Kumar, Vijay and Shravan Kumar, associated with a consortium company, to prepare forged documents for the plots and illegally take possession of them.Singh alleged that when he objected to the fraud, the accused threatened him.
