CM Shri School admissions 2026: The Directorate of Education (DoE), Delhi has started the online registration process for CM Shri School admissions 2026 today, February 27, 2026. Admissions are being conducted for Classes 6, 9 and 11 for the 2026–27 academic session, PTI reports. Eligible students and parents can submit their applications online through the official website edudel.nic.in. The last date to apply is March 12, 2026.As per the official notice, only students who are residents of Delhi and who studied in a recognised school in Delhi during the 2025-26 academic session are eligible to apply. The eligibility criteria are mandatory and applications that do not meet these conditions may be rejected.The notice also states that 50 per cent of the total seats are reserved for students who have passed Class 5, Class 8 and Class 10 from government schools in Delhi. The remaining seats are open to other eligible students who meet the residency and schooling requirements.The CM Shri School entrance exam 2026 admit card will be issued separately at a later date. According to the schedule shared by the department, the entrance exams for Classes 6 and 9 will be held by the last week of March 2026, while the Class 11 entrance exam is scheduled for May 2026. The department aims to complete the admission process for Classes 6 and 9 by April 30, 2026, PTI reports.
CM Shri School entrance exam pattern 2026
The entrance examination will be objective and OMR-based. Class-wise syllabus details and a sample OMR sheet will be uploaded on the official website to help students prepare.The Class 6 question paper will be bilingual, while exams for Classes 9 and 11 will be conducted in English. There will be no negative marking for Class 6, but negative marking will apply for Classes 9 and 11. The Class 6 exam will be of 300 marks, while Classes 9 and 11 exams will carry 400 marks each.CM Shri Schools are a flagship initiative of the Delhi government aimed at strengthening public education through modern infrastructure, updated curriculum and holistic learning.
