Lucknow: A 12-year-old boy was feared drowned while bathing in a branch of the Indira Canal, in Lucknow’s Chinhat area on Sunday afternoon. Police and divers have launched a search operation to trace him.The victim, Sunny Yadav, entered the canal for a bath. While swimming, he reportedly ventured into deep water and disappeared.Jal Setu outpost in charge Manoj Kumar Singh rushed to the spot with a police team. Divers were pressed into service. The boy could not be located till reports last came in.
