Lucknow: Shri Jai Narain Misra Post Graduate (JNMPG) College has announced the commencement of admissions for the academic session 2026-27 on Friday.The admission process has begun online, allowing candidates to apply through the official college portal. The college offers a wide range of undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programmes.UG courses include BA with 1,080 seats, BCom with 1,080 seats, BCom honours with 60 seats, BSc biology with 420 seats and BSc maths with 300 seats.BSc computer science and BSc statistics offer 60 seats each, along with BBA and BCA having 60 seats each.PG and professional courses include LLB with 320 seats, BEd and BPEd with 50 seats each.MSc programmes in botany, zoology, chemistry, physics and maths offer 30 seats each, along with MA in Hindi with 60 seats, English with 50 seats, economics with 50 seats and sociology with 50 seats. MCom is offered in commerce and applied economics with 60 seats each.New skill-based certificate courses such as computerised accounting and tally, foreign languages and AI-based computer applications have been introduced this year to meet industry demands.Principal KK Shukla said, “The college provides smart classrooms, laboratories, libraries, Wi-Fi facility, gymnasium, botanical garden and active NCC and NSS units.”
