The All India Institute of Medical Sciences has opened the online application process for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test, NORCET 10, for the post of Nursing Officer. The registration window has begun on February 24, 2026, and will remain open until March 16, 2026.The recruitment drive aims to fill 2,551 Nursing Officer vacancies across various AIIMS institutions and affiliated healthcare facilities nationwide. Candidates selected through the examination will be posted at different locations across India, based on institutional requirements.Key dates and examination scheduleAccording to the official notification, the written examination for NORCET 10 is scheduled to be conducted on April 11, 2026. The application fee must be paid through online mode only.Eligibility criteria and age limitCandidates applying for the Nursing Officer post must be between 18 and 30 years of age. The crucial date for determining the age limit is March 16, 2026. Age relaxation will be applicable for reserved categories as per government rules.In terms of educational qualification, applicants must possess either a B.Sc Nursing degree or a General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) qualification along with a minimum of two years of relevant work experience.Application fee and vacancy detailsThe application fee has been set at Rs. 3,000 for candidates belonging to the General and OBC categories. Applicants from SC, ST and PWD categories are required to pay Rs. 2,400. A total of 2,551 vacancies have been notified under this recruitment cycle.Selection process and application stepsThe selection process will consist of a written examination followed by document verification and a medical examination for shortlisted candidates.To apply, candidates must first review the detailed notification to confirm eligibility.
