Amplitude is rolling out a set of AI features that turn its analytics platform into something closer to a conversational interface. Users can now query data, run experiments, and segment users through natural language, while dedicated agents monitor metrics and surface recommendations directly in Slack. The MCP integration is the most notable piece – it pipes Amplitude data into Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and any MCP-compatible app, which effectively makes product analytics available wherever engineers and PMs already work. Nearly every analytics and data platform has shipped some version of a natural language query layer in the past year, but the MCP connector positions Amplitude as a data source for agentic workflows rather than just a dashboard replacement.
