The Anti-Corruption Bureau sleuths arrested a Superintendent in the Office of the Commissioner and Director of School Education, Saifabad, and a senior assistant in the District Educational Officer’s (DEO) office in Rangareddy district while accepting a bribe of ₹70,000 on Thursday (February 19, 2026). The accused official, identified as Sangeena Phaniraj, Superintendent (General), was trapped by the ACB City Range-I officials. He demanded and accepted ₹70,000 from a complainant through Gummidala Sridhar, a senior assistant.
