Cline released a CLI-agnostic kanban app for orchestrating multiple coding agents running in parallel – any agent, not just Cline. The board visualizes task status across running, blocked, and completed states, with dependency linking so downstream work kicks off automatically when prerequisites finish. The pitch is honest about the real bottleneck: it’s not the AI, it’s the developer’s attention when juggling 15-20 agent sessions across terminals. Managing parallel agents is becoming its own workflow problem, and tools like Cline Kanban, Claude Code’s task system, and Cursor’s background agents are all converging on the same insight – orchestration UX matters as much as model capability once you scale past a single agent loop.
