Lucknow: The state govt will organise employment fairs across three cities in March as part of efforts to provide job opportunities to the youth and promote self-reliance through skill-based employment.The initiative, led by the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission, will see fairs being held in Lucknow on March 18, Jhansi on March 24 and Varanasi on March 25. These fairs will bring together various companies from the private sector, offering trained and eligible youth a platform to secure jobs. Minister Kapil Dev Agarwal, said: “Govt has appointed nodal officers in the divisions concerned to ensure the successful organisation of these fairs. District programme management units were also instructed to coordinate with the district administration.” TNN
