Jaipur: Rajasthan Royals have announced a minor adjustment to their pre-season schedule. While March 15 was initially earmarked as the start date for their IPL 2026 preparations, the full squad camp will now officially commence on March 17 here at the Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Stadium. Under head coach and director of cricket Kumar Sangakkara, the camp will focus on fostering team bonding, intensive training and planning, along with strength and training sessions. Earlier, a smaller group of players, including Ravi Bishnoi, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Sandeep Sharma, and Ravindra Jadeja, had attended a short camp-cum-fitness assessment session at the franchise’s High Performance Centre in Nagpur. The Jaipur camp will mark the first time the Royals’ full squad, including new recruits like Jadeja and Sam Curran, comes together ahead of the season. The Royals will likely depart from Jaipur for Guwahati on March 26 ahead of their season opener. They are scheduled to play their first three matches at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium against the Chennai Super Kings (March 30), Mumbai Indians (April 7), and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (April 10).
