Lucknow: The cabinet approved investment proposals worth Rs 3,540 crore, paving the way for the establishment of five super mega industrial units across key districts of the state, industrial development minister Nand Gopal Gupta ‘Nandi’ said.Letters of Comfort will be issued to the companies shortly to facilitate project implementation. The proposed units will be set up in Ayodhya, Gorakhpur, Rae Bareli, Fatehpur and Mirzapur. Among the major investments, Pakka Limited will invest Rs 676.26 crore in Ayodhya, while Gallant Ispat Limited will set up a Rs 765.11 crore unit in Gorakhpur.Similarly, Reliance Cement Company Private Limited will invest Rs 550.31 crore in Rae Bareli and Dalmia Bharat Green Vision Limited will establish units in Fatehpur and Mirzapur with investments of Rs 776.35 crore and Rs 772.26 crore, respectively.In addition, the cabinet approved a capital subsidy of Rs 6.88 crore for Radico Khaitan Limited for its unit in Sitapur.
