SBI Clerk mains result 2026: The State Bank of India has announced the SBI Clerk Mains Result 2026 for recruitment to the post of Clerk, also known as Junior Associate. The result was released on February 27, 2026, for candidates who appeared in the mains written examination conducted earlier in the recruitment cycle.Candidates who participated in the examination can check their qualifying status through the official websites bank.sbi and sbi.co.in. The recruitment drive was conducted under advertisement number CRPD/CR/2025-26/06 and aims to fill thousands of clerical vacancies across branches of the bank.Recruitment drive and examination timelineThe recruitment process began after the notification was issued on August 5, 2025. Online registration for applicants opened on August 6, 2025, and continued until August 26, 2025.Following the application phase, the preliminary examination stage was conducted on September 20, September 21 and September 27, 2025. The admit cards for the prelims examination were issued earlier on September 14, 2025. The result for the preliminary stage was declared on November 4, 2025, allowing shortlisted candidates to appear in the next stage of selection.The mains written examination was later conducted on November 21, 2025. After evaluation of answer scripts and completion of assessment procedures, the bank released the mains result on February 27, 2026.Score card release and result accessAccording to the schedule published by the bank, the score card for the SBI Clerk Mains examination is scheduled to be released on March 10, 2026. Candidates will be able to download their marks and detailed performance report using login credentials on the official recruitment portal.The result document includes the list of candidates shortlisted for the next stages of the recruitment process. Aspirants can also access the merit list PDF made available through the official website.Vacancy details and eligibilityThe recruitment aims to fill a total of 5,583 posts of Clerk or Junior Associate. Out of these, 5,180 positions fall under regular vacancies while 403 posts are reserved as backlog vacancies.Applicants were required to hold a graduate degree from a recognised university to be eligible for the post. The prescribed age limit for the recruitment was between 20 and 28 years, with the cut-off date for age calculation set as April 1, 2025. Age relaxation provisions apply according to the rules applicable to different categories.Selected candidates will receive a basic pay of Rs 26,730 per month.Selection process for SBI Clerk recruitmentThe selection procedure consists of multiple stages designed to evaluate candidates for clerical roles. The recruitment process includes a preliminary written examination followed by the mains written examination.Candidates who qualify in the mains stage are required to undergo a local language proficiency test. After this stage, shortlisted applicants will proceed to document verification and a medical examination before final appointment decisions are made.
