SECL apprentice recruitment 2026: South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL), a subsidiary of Coal India Limited, has released a recruitment notification for apprentice positions. The company, categorised as a Miniratna enterprise, is inviting applications for a total of 1700 posts under its apprenticeship programme.The recruitment drive includes opportunities for graduate apprentices, technician apprentices and fresher apprentices. Out of these, 500 posts are earmarked for graduate apprentices, while 1100 posts are earmarked as technician apprentices.Additionally, 100 posts are earmarked as fresher apprentice posts, which comprise office assistant, general duty assistant, assistant mine surveyor, security guard, etc.Eligibility Criteria and Qualifications RequiredFor the graduate apprentice posts, the candidates applying should have their degrees in the fields of mining, BBA, BCA, B.com, B.Sc, etc. On the other hand, the candidates applying for the posts of technician apprentices should have their diplomas in the fields of engineering, including mining, mine surveying, civil, electrical, mechanical, etc.For the fresher apprentices, the candidates applying should have passed class 10th or class 11th. The minimum age of the candidates applying should be 18 years, as of March 31, 2026.Application Process and Key DatesThe entire application process is being done online, and the interested candidates are required to submit the forms before the deadline date.
