Lucknow: Children added colour and excitement to the Lucknow Book Fair at Ravindralaya as many young visitors were seen exploring storybooks, comics and colouring books. Stalls filled with fairy tales, comics and activity books attracted children searching for their favourite titles.Mandala art and giant colouring books emerged as the biggest attraction. These books, usually used as stress busters, are popular among children who enjoyed filling the designs with bright colours. “I like the mandala books because we can colour them in many bright shades,” said 14-year-old Isha, who also bought ‘Bahadur Bachche’ from the National Book Trust of India stall.Booksellers said children showed interest in Hindi as well as English storybooks. The fair features imported colouring and activity books from the UK and Belgium.
