The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has officially released the final selection results for the posts of Police Sub-Inspector (Confidential), Assistant Sub-Inspector (Clerical), and Assistant Sub-Inspector (Accounts). This announcement follows the recruitment process conducted for a total of 921 vacancies under the Direct Recruitment 2023.Candidates who appeared in the written examination, document verification, physical standards test, computer typing test, and stenography test for the respective posts can now access their selection status through the official UPPRPB website. A total of 912 candidates have been successfully selected across all categories, including 178 female candidates.Detailed category wise selectionOut of the 921 posts, 242 candidates from the EWS and Unreserved categories, 464 from Other Backward Classes, 197 from Scheduled Castes, and 09 from Scheduled Tribes have been selected based on merit and reservation policies issued by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. The selection includes posts of Police Sub-Inspector (Confidential), Assistant Sub-Inspector (Clerical), and Assistant Sub-Inspector (Accounts).Cutoff marks for the last selected candidates vary across categories. For Police Sub-Inspector (Confidential), unreserved candidates had a cutoff of 316.26, OBC 299.57, SC 225.04, while ASI Clerk unreserved candidates required 334.61, and ASI Accounts unreserved 318.61. Candidates can check their results by entering their registration number and date of birth. Computer typing test results are also published and accessible separately.Tie-break rules and finalisationIn cases of equal marks, ranking is determined using preferential qualifications, higher age, and alphabetical order of the candidate’s name. The selection remains subject to medical examination, verification of educational qualifications, reservation certificates, and character verification.The Board has clarified that while adequate care has been taken in preparing and uploading the results, it is not liable for technical errors.
