Lucknow: Vineeta from Sonbhadra, who once struggled for her livelihood, has emerged as a new face of success with the support of women empowerment schemes run by the Yogi Adityanath govt.By making milk production the basis of her livelihood, she earned Rs 67 lakh in just 2 years, proving that if rural women get the right govt support, they can script a new story of economic prosperity.By associating with Kashi Milk Producer Company Ltd, she not only transformed her own life but has also become an inspiration for women across her village and the region.Vineeta, a graduate, was shouldering the responsibility of a 14-member joint family. Working alongside her husband, Avinash, she used to manage 10-12 cattle, but due to dependence on private dairies, she could not get timely and fair prices.Vineeta decided to associate with Kashi Milk Producer Co which gave her access to fair prices, timely payments and training facilities.“Vineeta adopted scientific methods, increased the number of cattle and significantly boosted production. Today, she has more than 40 milch cattle and has been included among the ‘Lakhpati Didis’. By earning an income of Rs 67 lakh in just two years, she has set a new example of rural women empowerment,” a govt spokesperson said.“Kashi Milk and the self-help group not only gave me financial strength but also a new perspective on life,” Vineeta said.
