ALIGARH: A 14-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped and found unconscious in a field near Charra township, leading to the arrest of two individuals.The victim’s father stated that she had left for a local market on Saturday evening for purchases.When she failed to return, the family began searching and notified the police, news agency PTI reported.With the assistance of local residents, a police team found the girl unconscious and bruised in a deserted location.Authorities also detained two men who were nearby in an inebriated state.According to the father’s complaint, the two men allegedly sprayed the minor with chemicals to make her nearly unconscious, forced her to drink liquor, and then raped and assaulted her, PTI reported.Circle officer (Charra) Avinash Kumar said that a case was registered against the two suspects under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, based on the medical report, resulting in their arrest.The officer further noted that the victim is receiving treatment at the district hospital and is in stable condition.(With agency inputs)
