Lucknow: As many as 18 girls, who studied at the social welfare department’s Centre of Excellence in Mirzapur, have emerged successful in the recently declared NEET results.Congratulating them on their performance, social welfare minister (independent charge) Asim Arun said: “The success is the result of their hard work, guidance of teachers, and the department’s quality free residential coaching arrangement. The objective is not only to provide education, but also to help talent reach its destination.”The Jai Prakash Narayan Sarvodaya Balika Vidyalaya in Marihan, Mirzapur, has been developed as a Centre of Excellence to help students prepare for competitive exams. At this centre, 34 girls were provided free residential coaching for NEET. Of these, 31 appeared for the examination and 18 cleared it.
