TNNLucknow: As many as 2,253 candidates qualified in the written examination conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) for 624 posts of lecturers across 18 subjects.The results of the examination, in which over 1.92 lakh candidates appeared on May 9 and 10, were declared by UPESSC chairperson Prashant Kumar. The shortlisted candidates will appear for interviews in subjects including physics, biology, home science, history, education, English, agriculture, commerce, sociology, political science, mathematics, economics, Sanskrit, psychology, chemistry, geography, fine arts and Hindi.Kumar said that the subject-wise and category-wise roll numbers of shortlisted candidates were published on the official website, www.upessc.up.gov.in. The detailed schedule and guidelines for the interviews will be published on Wednesday. Candidates will also receive notifications via SMS and on their registered email IDs and mobile numbers.
