KUSHINAGAR: At least three people, including two women, were killed after a car collided head-on with their motorcycle on the Hata-Pipraich road in the Ahirauli Bazar police station area of Uttar Pradesh’s Kushinagar district on Saturday, police said.According to police, Vivek Singh (25), Shalu (31), and Madhuri (55) were travelling to Gorakhpur on a motorcycle for medical treatment when the accident occurred.Kasaya Circle Officer Kundan Kumar Singh said that the accused car driver has been detained.The collision took place around 1.30 pm near Sonbarsa Pattan on the Hata-Pipraich road. The impact of the crash was so severe that all three motorcycle riders died on the spot.The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination, police added.(With Agency Inputs)
