Lucknow: As many as six UPSC aspirants, who had enrolled under the Mukhyamantri Abhyudaya Coaching Yojana, have managed to secure a place in the top 1,000 in the coveted exams, the results of which were declared on Friday.Among the successful students, four participated in mock interviews. Deputy director, social welfare department, Anand Kumar Singh, said that two students who took residential coaching, Vimal Kumar and Vipin Dev Yadav, achieved the 107th rank and 316th rank, respectively. Of the four students who took mock interview training, Mansi secured the 444th rank, Mahesh Jaiswal secured the 590th rank, Aditi Singh secured the 859th rank, and Tanisha Singh secured the 930th rank. Social welfare minister of state (independent charge) Asim Arun congratulated the successful candidates, adding that facilities under the scheme will be further enhanced so that results can be even better in the future. The department is operating residential coaching at the Bhagidari Bhawan for children from economically weaker sections of society. Coaching is provided for the civil services main examination, and special sessions are organised for interviews, where guidance is provided to candidates by subject experts and senior IAS and PCS officers. Candidates are provided free residential facilities, meals, a library, and online and offline classes.
