NEW DELHI: The prices of commercial Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinders have been reduced effective August 1, with cuts announced in Delhi and Kolkata.The price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder has been lowered by Rs 209 in Kolkata and Rs 202 in Delhi, reported ANI, citing sources. Following the revision, a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder will cost Rs 2,872.50 in Kolkata from August 1. There is no change in the prices of domestic LPG.This marks a 2nd consecutive month of price cut in the prices of the commercial LPG with prices having been slashed by Rs 183.50 in Delhi last month. With the revision, effective July 1, the retail price of a commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi had been reduced to Rs 2,930.Oil marketing companies also lowered the price of the 5-kg Free Trade LPG (FTL) cylinder by Rs 13 effective July 1. Following the revision, a 5-kg FTL cylinder in Delhi is at Rs 808.50.
