Lucknow: The three-day annual cultural festival of DAV degree college, ‘Abhivyakti 2026′, concluded on Thursday with a lively mix of events and competitions. The final day was dedicated to cultural competitions attracting students from nearly 18 colleges across Lucknow.The day featured solo singing, group singing, solo dance for boys and girls, group dance for boys and girls and a fancy dress competition. Students performed vibrant dance forms like Garba, Bhangra and dances of different states to the tune of film songs, folk melodies. Fancy dress competition showcased participants in traditional costumes highlighting India’s cultural diversity. “Indian folk music is the soul of our culture and it is the responsibility of youth to preserve and share these traditions. Celebrate your heritage through music, dance and art and keep our cultural values alive,” said chief guest Padmashree Malini Awasthi, classical and folk singer. MLC Avanish Kumar Singh, chairman of Indo-American chamber of commerce UP Chapter Mukesh Singh, college manager Anand Mohan Tiwari were present.
