Lucknow: Officials were directed to speed up construction of Sahitya Park and a working women’s hostel during an inspection of civic projects by mayor Sushma Kharkwal and municipal commissioner Gaurav Kumar on Thursday. They reviewed progress of Sahitya Park project in Chak Ganjaria Zone 8, and the women’s hostel near Transport Nagar, asking officials to adhere to timeline and maintain quality standards.At the hostel site, the Mayor reviewed the construction status and the facilities planned for residents. She asked officials to expedite the work to ensure early availability of accommodation. “The project should be completed within the stipulated time frame so that the facility can be made available at the earliest,” she said.
