Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas Joint Secretary Sujata Sharma on Tuesday (April 28, 2026) said that there is no proposal to increase the price of premium variants of petrol and diesel.
“After April 1 [that is, for premium variants], there has been no proposal for increase in price of petrol, diesel,” Ms. Sharma said during a press briefing, adding that the “Nayara Refinery is expected to return after shutdown sometime mid-may”.
