Lucknow: A research scholar at the Birbal Sahni Institute of Palaeosciences (BSIP), Suraj Kumar Sahu represented India at the ‘Cells to Ecosystem Summer School 2026’ held at Haverford College, Pennsylvania, USA, recently.His participation was fully funded through a grant from the US National Science Foundation. The international training programme brought together a selected group of graduate students, PhD scholars and postdoctoral researchers from across the world for advanced training in trait-based palaeoecology, fossil plant analysis and ecosystem modelling.Sahu has also been awarded a USD 2,000 international travel grant to present his PhD research at the 58th annual meeting of AASP-The Palynological Society, to be held in Trelew, Argentina, in Sep.
