External affairs minister S Jaishankar is set to embark on a six-nation visit from July 5 to 15, covering Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, the United States and Belgium.Jaishankar will visit the four Gulf countries from July 5 to 10, where he is scheduled to meet his counterparts and leadership figures. According to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), the visit will focus on strengthening India’s bilateral relations and exchanging views on regional developments and issues of mutual interest.Following the Gulf tour, he will travel to New York on July 13 to launch India’s official campaign for a non-permanent seat in the United Nations Security Council for the 2028–29 term.He will then visit Brussels on July 14 and 15 to attend the third India–EU Trade and Technology Council meeting and hold discussions with counterparts from the European Union and Belgium.The multi-nation tour reflects India’s continued diplomatic engagement with key partners in the Gulf, Europe and the United States, while advancing its strategic and economic interests.
