HYDERABAD: A speeding Ferrari Roma worth over Rs 3.5 crore crashed into the gate of an apartment complex in Hyderabad’s upscale Jubilee Hills area on Sunday, causing extensive damage to both the luxury car and the property. The accident took place on Road Number 5 under the jurisdiction of the Film Nagar Police Station. According to officials, the Ferrari rammed into the gate of Fort View Apartments, completely destroying it. The front portion of the high-end sports car was also severely damaged in the crash.No injuries were reported in the incident, police said.Film Nagar sub-inspector Ramesh Naidu said the driver was subjected to a breathalyzer test immediately after the accident and tested negative for alcohol. Police also confirmed that the driver possessed a valid driving licence.Despite the damage to the apartment gate, no FIR was registered as the building’s owner declined to file a complaint, officials said.
