Lucknow: The father of an 18-year-old NEET aspirant who died by suicide last month said the resignation of Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan was a step in the right direction, but justice would remain incomplete unless stringent action was taken against everyone involved in the paper leak racket.“This is not just a failure of one office; it is a collapse of an entire system that cost my daughter her life. Until every link in this chain is exposed and punished, there is no justice, only delay,” said the victim’s father, a travelling ticket examiner.The girl had died by suicide at her home in Aishbagh on June 19. Her family claimed she was distressed after reports of the NEET paper leak surfaced. They said she had spent a year preparing for the examination.

Commenting on the bill that is expected to be introduced in Parliament on Monday, he said stricter laws could serve as a deterrent, but their effectiveness would depend on implementation.“I have lost my daughter and that void can never be filled. But I urge students not to lose hope.
