Lucknow: Former students of Isabella Thoburn Degree College reunited for an alumnae meet in the college on Saturday. Students from the batches of 1983 to 2023 gathered on the campus to reconnect with their teachers and classmates.Deepti Tanya Khushal (2006 batch) said the campus built her confidence. Noopur Srivastava (2001 batch) said the college’s focus on perfection in teaching, especially lab practicals, shaped her career. The students also reminisced about pranks they played or the meals they enjoyed between their lectures.Mahima Bajpayee (2000 batch), now a fitness coach, recalled bursting a ‘sutli’ bomb inside a dustbin during Diwali. “The teachers knew it could be no one but me,” she said. Nidhi Divakar Sinha (1995 batch) remembered the peon bringing samosas during classes, which students sometimes paid extra for.
