Lucknow: Aam Aadmi Party has announced its fourth padyatra in the state. It will begin from Agra on April 3 and conclude in Mathura on April 9. The ‘Rojgar do samajik nyay do pad yatra’ will cover 100-km, through which the party will organise nukkad sabhas and public meetings and ‘spread the message of love and brotherhood against a politics of hatred’.Party MP and UP in-charge Sanjay Singh, who will lead the yatra, said that the party would focus on issues like unemployment, BJP’s policy of dividing people along caste and religious lines, govt’s foreign policy.“Unemployment has become the biggest issue in UP and the future of the youth is in darkness. When the youth demand employment, they are met with lathicharge and legal cases. AAP will strongly raise the issue of employment and social justice across the state through this pad yatra,” Singh said.Commenting on the gas and fuel shortage due to the ongoing tensions in the Gulf region, Singh said that people are waiting for 25 days to get a cylinder after they are booked, while cylinders in the black market are available for Rs 8,000. “Govt deliberately pushed the country into crisis and now the public is paying the price,” he said.
