Bangladesh fast bowler Rubel Hossain has announced his retirement from international cricket, bringing an end to a career that spanned over a decade and included 159 appearances for the national side.
Rubel represented Bangladesh in 27 Tests, 104 ODIs, and 28 T20Is, carving out a reputation as a dependable limited-overs bowler. His last appearance for Bangladesh came in April 2021 in a T20I against New Zealand in Auckland. Though injuries curtailed his involvement in recent years, he expressed his intention to continue playing domestic cricket.
