Sunny Deol’s ‘Batwara 1947’ has witnessed a massive setback at the box office, with the Partition drama registering a steep decline on its first Monday. The film opened with Rs 5.75 crore on day 1, which is Friday, according to Sacnilk. On day 2, Saturday, it saw growth at the box office and made Rs 13.50 crore. On day 3, the film had lesser shows and it clocked in Rs 7.25 crore.
