Lucknow: A 19-year-old BBA student allegedly shot himself at his home in New Hyderabad colony Monday night.Police suspect a monetary dispute with his mother could be the probable motive.The deceased belonged to a family of doctors. Mahanagar police received information about the incident around 10.30pm. A revolver was recovered from the spot. SHO, Mahanagar, Akhilesh Mishra said the weapon did not belong to the family and they are verifying how the boy procured it.Police said the teenager was awake during the early hours of Monday, prepared Maggi in the kitchen and later spoke to a friend over the phone.Forensic experts who examined the scene said the condition of the body suggested that the gunshot had been fired several hours before police were informed.
