Lucknow: BJP national president Nitin Nabin on Sunday said that the party remains firmly focused on the electoral battle ahead and is working in coordination with its NDA allies to further strengthen its position in the country’s most populous state.“The BJP completely positions itself in the electoral arena. All the allies of the NDA have worked to make Uttar Pradesh an excellent state,” Nabin said while speaking to reporters on Sunday. He credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi and chief minister Yogi Adityanath for pursuing a people-centric governance model and said their commitment to public service strengthened the NDA’s connect with voters across the state.“With the spirit of service with which PM Narendra Modi and CM Yogi Adityanath have worked for the people, I am fully confident that in 2027 we will form the govt with a massive majority,” he said.Nabin’s observation comes as political parties have begun sharpening their organisational and electoral strategies ahead of the 2027 Assembly polls. The BJP, which heads the ruling coalition in the state, has been intensifying its outreach programmes and organisational activities, while opposition parties are also gearing up to challenge the NDA’s dominance. The BJP brass has repeatedly highlighted the Centre’s and state govt’s welfare initiatives, infrastructure projects and law-and-order record as key pillars of its electoral strategy.
