Lucknow: What started as a complaint about a piece of chicken in a biryani order turned into a full-blown street fight near Engineering College crossing, leaving three persons seriously injured. A video of the ruckus went viral.Police said the clash broke out on Wednesday night when Suraj Prajapati, resident of Tedhi Pulia, along with his friend Mohammad Aamir, visited a local eatery to get biryani packed. When Prajapati asked for a piece of chicken to be replaced, the request snowballed into a violent confrontation.Police said, restaurant owner Rizwan abused the customer and got into an argument. As the situation went out of control, Rizwan and his employee Zameer, along with 10-12 other staff members, attacked the two customers with iron rods, sticks and chairs.Prajapati suffered serious head injury and fractured arm and fell unconscious following the assault. His friend Aamir too fainted injured. A local advocate, Devendra Pratap Singh, who stepped in to calm the situation, was also attacked and injured.Inspector Shivanand Mishra of Madiaon police station said FIR was registered and Rizwan and his workers were arrested, while investigation was on.
