SRINAGAR: A 23-year-old woman constable posted with the Border Security Force (BSF) HQ in Paloura, on the outskirts of Jammu, was found hanging at her official accommodation on Monday, officials said.The deceased constable, Bishnu Priya Roy, was a native of Jalpaiguri in West Bengal and posted with BSF’s 53 Bn.She had been undergoing a three-month lab assistant training course that began on May 25. Official sources said Roy was found unresponsive around 9am in her room at the Command Hospital premises inside the BSF frontier HQ campus, Paloura.Roy was taken to Jammu Govt Medical College, where doctors declared her dead. The body was shifted to a hospital for post-mortem. Officials said a police investigation was underway.
