Lucknow: After a day packed with organisational meetings and political deliberations, the BJP leadership switched to a lighter mode on Sunday afternoon, gathering for a mango party hosted by Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak at his official residence. The informal get-together brought together CM Yogi Adityanath, BJP national president Nitin Nabin, deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya, UP BJP chief Pankaj Chaudhary, and other senior party functionaries. The gathering offered a rare glimpse of the leadership away from the rigours of strategy sessions, organisational reviews and meetings with party functionaries and NDA allies that had dominated the past two days.Pathak personally welcomed the guests and served mangoes, setting a relaxed tone for the afternoon. Political discussions gave way to light-hearted conversations as leaders enjoyed the seasonal delicacy. The highlight of the event came when the CM picked up a mango, peeled it with his teeth and smiled before taking a bite. The spontaneous moment drew laughter and smiles from those present, with several leaders soon following suit.Marked by camaraderie, laughter and informal interactions, the gathering provided a welcome break from the intense political engagements of the weekend and reflected the personal rapport among the BJP’s top leadership.
