NASHIK: Nine members of a family, including seven women, were killed after their car plunged into a water-filled well in Maharashtra’s Nashik district, police said on Saturday.The accident took place in the Shivaji Nagar area of Dindori on Friday night. According to officials, the victims were returning home after attending a family event when the driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle.Police said the car veered off the road and fell into a nearby well filled with water.Rescue teams were immediately deployed, and efforts were launched to retrieve the bodies from the well.The Dindori police have registered a case and initiated an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident.
