Lucknow: The UP education service selection commission completed preparations to conduct the assistant professor recruitment examination on Apr 18-19, with stringent measures in place to ensure a cheating-free and transparent process.The examination will be held in four shifts across 53 centres in six districts — Lucknow, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Agra and Meerut.Commission chairman Prashant Kumar reviewed arrangements and said all centres are fully prepared, with staff training completed.To maintain the integrity of the examination, all centres have been equipped with CCTV cameras linked to district control rooms and the commission’s central command centre for real-time monitoring. Observers have been deployed in each district to oversee the conduct of the exam.District administration and police teams will carry out continuous inspections, with prohibitory orders enforced around centres and adequate security deployment ensured. The use of mobile phones and electronic devices has been strictly banned.Officials said strict action will be taken against anyone attempting malpractice or disrupting the examination process.The commission has advised candidates to reach their centres on time, follow admit card instructions, and rely only on official sources for information.
