NEW DELHI: A charter plane disappeared from radar on Monday shortly after takeoff from Ranchi airport, according to DGCA sources quoted by ANI. Meanwhile, as per airport sources, the plane was a medical flight which departed as scheduled, with communication established with the next control station before air traffic control was transferred. However, contact was subsequently lost, and the aircraft did not establish communication with the Ranchi Airport.Authorities have informed the state government, and all standard operating procedures are being followed, the sources added.(more details awaited)
