Lucknow: A couple allegedly died by suicide after a domestic dispute over travelling to Ludhiana, police said.Post -mortem report confirmed hanging as the cause of death.The couple were married about six months ago. Their bodies were found hanging from the same saree inside their house on Tuesday night.During a preliminary investigation, police questioned family members, who said that the couple had been arguing over travelling to Ludhiana.Investigators said the man was working in Ludhiana but returned to his native village around 25 days ago after falling ill. According to family members, his wife wanted to return to Ludhiana immediately, but her husband wanted to stay back for a few days. The disagreement allegedly escalated, following which the couple took the extreme step.Dalmau station house officer Raghavendra Kumar Singh said police were investigating all aspects of the case and further action would be taken based on the findings of the investigation.
