NEW DELHI: A CRPF officer allegedly shot dead two of his colleagues and injured another before killing himself at a camp in Assam’s Nagaon district on Tuesday, police told news agency PTI.The incident took place at the CRPF’s 34 Battalion camp in Katimari, Nagaon, at around 7 am, when Assistant Sub-Inspector (GD) Ballani Premabaram, who was on duty at the main gate, allegedly opened fire on his colleagues, Nagaon Deputy Superintendent of Police (HQ) Paramita Sarkar told PTI.Premabaram later turned the weapon on himself and died at the spot, she said.Head Constable (GD) Vishnu Prasad Baghel and Sub-Inspector (GD) Ramnawal Singh Yadav were killed in the firing, while Assistant Sub-Inspector (Mane) Govind Sripul was injured and admitted to a private hospital for treatment.
