Lucknow: An evening celebrating music, poetry and literature came alive at a cultural programme “Dil Abhi Bhara Nahin” in the city on Saturday evening.The event featured a blend of soulful music, poetry and engaging performances, reflecting Lucknow’s rich cultural and artistic heritage.Singer and theatre artist Kirti Killedar won the audience with rendition of Bollywood classics and Marathi songs.Lyricist, author and motivational speaker Chandra Shekhar Varma captivated the audience with his poetry and inspiring reflections.A key highlight was the presentation of classics such as ‘Aaj Jaane Ki Zid Na Karo’, ‘Ranjish Hi Sahi’, ‘Abhi Na Jao Chhod Kar’ and ‘Din Dhal Jaye’ with newly written contemporary lyrics by Varma. While retaining the soul and melody of the original compositions, the fresh verses offered audiences a new emotional perspective.The event drew an enthusiastic gathering of literature enthusiasts, music lovers and art connoisseurs.
