Lucknow: A student-led five-day painting exhibition began in the city on Tuesday showcasing fine pieces of artworks that reflected both artistic creativity and everyday concerns.Curated by artist Meenakshi Shravani, the exhibition features around 65 paintings by her students on themes including nature, devotion, spirituality and social issues.Participant Neha Singh, who painted Buddha in a meditation pose, said, “I have depicted peace and spirituality through my work.”Another artist, Priyanshi, presented a painting of Radha and Krishna. “I have tried to show Krishna playing the flute while Radha watches him,” she said.A painting by student Kanak focused on social media stress among teenagers, showing a child in distress after not receiving enough likes.Meenakshi said the exhibition reflects the students’ creativity and imagination. The exhibition will remain open till May 23, from 11am to 6pm.
