Directed by Nia DaCosta, ‘The Marvels’ brings Carol Danvers, Kamala Khan, and Monica Rambeau together in a fast-paced MCU outing built around the delightful conceit that the three heroes swap places every time they use their powers. Brie Larson, Iman Vellani, and Teyonah Parris make for an irresistible ensemble, and the film celebrates female heroism with a vibrant, joyful energy that is impossible not to get swept up in. It is the most fun the MCU has had in years and the perfect final stop before Supergirl arrives.
