Lucknow: To tide over the LPG supply crisis, Green Gas Limited (GGL) plans to provide 6,000 piped natural gas (PNG) connections every month across the city.The city gas distributor currently serves 1.59 lakh active consumers, including 82,000 in Lucknow, 75,000 in Agra and the remainder across Unnao, Ayodhya and Sultanpur. Official sources said field teams will begin visiting residential areas with complete pipeline networks over the next 10 days to register new consumers. “Residents can also register at GGL’s Ratan Khand and Vibhuti Khand mother stations, or its Gomti Nagar Extension headquarters. The registration process can also be done with the official website of the firm,” said general manager RK Behera. “We are working on a war footing,” he added.
