NEW DELHI: Condemning the defacement of Indian embassy premises in Slovenia by Khalistan separatists, the govt urged law enforcement authorities elsewhere too to take note of the hateful propaganda and disinformation being spread by such groups.Ministry of external affairs said in an official statement that under the Vienna Convention, diplomatic premises are inviolable and must be protected.“We have taken up the matter strongly with Slovenian authorities, both in New Delhi and in Ljubljana so that the perpetrators behind such reprehensible acts are held accountable to the full extent of the law,” it said.“We also call upon law enforcement authorities elsewhere to take note of the hateful propaganda and disinformation being spread by such groups,” it added. In recent years, Indian diplomatic missions have been targeted, vandalised, or defaced with pro-Khalistan slogans and flags in many other countries, including Australia, Canada, UK and the US.
