JAIPUR: Parts of Rajasthan are likely to witness gusty winds and light rainfall on Friday due to a Western Disturbance, while weather conditions in the rest of the state are expected to remain largely dry, according to the Meteorological Centre here.The weather office said districts including Sri Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Churu, Jhunjhunu, Jaipur, Alwar, Kotputli, Behror, Dausa and adjoining areas may experience strong winds of 40-50 kmph, along with light rain at isolated places.The Met department noted that maximum temperatures across the state are currently ranging between 40 and 42 degrees Celsius.In the past 24 hours, Barmer recorded the highest temperature at 42.9 degrees Celsius, 3.2 degrees above normal.The impact of the system may bring a marginal drop of 1–2 degrees Celsius in temperatures in northern parts of the state on Friday, followed by a gradual rise of 1–2 degrees Celsius in the coming days, the department added.
